How often are updated coin data and predictions?

The information contained on this website is not necessarily provided in real-time nor is it necessarily accurate, we do not provide any guarantees. With that being said, we update every cryptocurrency with a market cap (around 3 000 coins) every 5 minutes. The rest of the listed coins then get updated once a day (as soon as a market cap is assigned to them, they are also updated every 5 minutes). The data about coins (such as prices, volumes, market cap etc.) come from CoinGecko. In case the connection with the CoinGecko API fails, we have a backup system that uses the last data that CoinGecko has provided us with. As a result, you will be able to see our predictions even if there is an issue with the API. As soon as the connection works again, market data about cryptocurrencies as well as our predictions are both updated.

How are calculated cryptocurrency prices and other market data?

The cryptocurrency prices are calculated using a global volume-weighted average price formula, all cryptocurrency prices, trading volumes, market cap and other market data comes from CoinGecko. In case you want to see cryptocurrency prices as well as all our predictions in a different currency than USD, you can use the automatic currency converter on the website. This tool can be used to see all prices on the website in up to 33 different currencies. The exchange rates that are used are taken from the Czech National Bank - https://www.cnb.cz/cs/financni_trhy/devizovy_trh/kurzy_devizoveho_trhu/denni_kurz.txt. Exchange rates of currencies are declared every working day after 2.30 P.M. (GMT+2 - Daylight Saving Time and GMT+1 – Wintertime).
